Sugarhill Gang’s Big Bank Hank Has Passed Away at 57

Big Bank Hank was the co-founder of the hip hop group, Sugarhill Gang, who gave us the 1979 classic, “Rapper’s Delight.” Henry Jackson lost his battle with cancer today. He was 57. Whenever you hear “A hip hop…the hippie to the hippie…the hip hip a hop you don’t stop” you will most likely see people of different backgrounds, ages, and races, rapping along to the tune.
