Actors Nicole and Boris Kodjoe have nabbed a summer test run on FOX for a new daytime tv show called “The Boris & Nicole Show” where they will focus on lifestyle and topical issues. Will you watch??

Kanye must’ve felt bad after walking on the stage at the 2015 Oscars and attempting to take away Beck’s award. Of course Ye was rooting for Beyonce. Well he took to twitter and said: “I would like to publicly apologize to Beck, I’m sorry Beck.” Aww, we knew he had a heart but WHO knew there was beef between Kanye and Bruno Mars??? Ye went on to tweet: “I also want to publicly apologize to Bruno Mars, I used to hate on him but I really respect what he does as an artist.” And continued: I also would love for Bruno to sing this hook on this song 88 Keys / Puff and I produced… I even asked Tyler to shoot the vid.” Wait, is he just trying to be cool with Bruno because he wants to work with him?? Don’t come for Queen Bey, or her beyhive will attack you! After Kid Rock shaded Beyonce in an interview with Rolling Stone, as expected, the Beyhive went off on the kid! Post after post directed towards Kid Rock from angry Beyonce fans crowded blog posts and his socials. On IG the hive use the bee emoji to express their disdain. Well, Rock responded to angry Beyonce fans by simply posting a picture of a can of Raid on his Instagram. Funny…and clever.

The 21st annual Essence Festival has an all-star lineup! Mary J. Blige, Erykah Badu, Floetry (who recently announced a tour for this spring), India.Arie, Elle Varner, Raheem DeVaughn, Goapele, Kendrick Lamar, Common, Kool Moe Dee, Doug E. Fresh, Mystikal, Slick Rick and Tank plus more. The Essence Festival will take place on July 2-5 in New Orleans, LA.

I’m sad to report that Charmayne “Maxee” Maxwell from the 1990’s group, Brownstone, passed away today from a fatal fall.
