I was inspired again by BET’s latest installment of the Hip hop docu-series, The Message. Last night’s episode discussed hip hop in the South, East and West coast, and of course with that comes the discussion of the murder of two rap icons – Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G. The legendary rappers made a HUGE impact in the music industry in the short time they were here. Pac died at the young age of 25, Biggie was only 24.
Although there was “beef” between the two, there was a time where they were close friends and even rhyming together. Below is a classic throwback of Biggie and Tupac freestyling during a 1993 Big Daddy Kane concert at Madison Square Garden.
Here’s one of many Biggie and Tupac Freestyles

I miss the 90s’ !! I wish things took a different route with these two, they were one of a kind.
